"I’ve always worked with children—through television, shows, and children’s books, but also through visits with various NGOs abroad, most recently in Syria, where I entertained and helped vulnerable and war-affected children, telling their stories. This is precisely what I am able to do, and I now wish to do this for Gadens Børn.

As an ambassador for Gadens Børn, I want to use my platform to speak out and shine a light on the lives of Kolkata’s street children. It’s close to my heart to tell their stories and advocate for them, as they cannot rise from the streets without someone to take their hand. They need someone to take responsibility for them, and I want to help do just that."
